Concept and Realization

On the occasion of Mediation Centre opening ceremony we organized a press conference with the address by Serbian Minister of Justice Zoran Stojkovic and Vice-President of International Finance Corporation (IFC) Lars H. Thunell, who was on a two-day visit to Belgrade.

The agency prepared conference invitations, press package, which included a press release, background information on mediation, photographs and video footage available to TV crews for preparation of news stories on mediation. We also provided technical support. A cocktail was organized after the official part of presentation. .

The press conference was attended by six TV crews and ten journalists from daily newspapers, magazines and radio stations. The agency assisted journalists in getting the requested interviewees during the event.


Generated Publicity

Following the conference, eight articles were published in daily newspapers, three mentions were made in agencies’ news services, and 13 TV reports in programs of six TV stations, as well as three radio reports. In addition to PR report with documented press clippings and video reports broadcast in programs of TV stations, the client also received a video footage and photographs made during the opening ceremony. During this event, we coordinated our activities with the Ministry of Justice of Serbia.


About Mediation Centre

Founders of the Mediation Centre are Ministry of Justice of Republic of Serbia, Child Rights Centre from Belgrade, Belgrade Bar Association and Central Bank of Serbia. Opening of the Centre is only one of activities organized by the agency within scope of cooperation with the program of International Finance Corporation (IFC). IFC’s project, launched in 2004, encompassed legal support to preparation of the first Law on Mediation in Serbia, training of mediators, support to pilot projects and public campaign to promote the new dispute resolution instrument. Alternative dispute resolution is a regional project of IFC, which supports various segments of alternative dispute resolution.
