Continuous support to product portfolio 2003 – 2007
Cooperation with Philips company began in October 2003. Until the end of 2007 it centered on support to small home appliances portfolio. As of 2008, our cooperation expanded as a result of global restructuring of the company and mutual satisfaction with previous cooperation.
Preparation of PR activities and realization
Owing to the very high quality of input information and guidance by Philips manager in charge of this program and quality of materials received from the company’s central PR service we were able to define the most adequate and effective strategy for PR activities in this area.
Every year we were preparing a detailed plan of promotions for all subgroups and key products. The innovativeness of Philips company, excellent quality of their products, and the freedom in creating most adequate formats of distributing information, has enabled us to succeed in attaining a very high level, volume and value of publicity given to Philips portfolio by relevant print media.
Dissemination of information to media and publicity creation
Over the years of cooperation with the company we gained a complete insight into their portfolio and approach to innovations, which was crucial for the quality and effects of PR activities. Also, we tried to choose a method of disseminating information that was in line with the reputation of Philips company.
We strove to use the creative archives of the company, in addition to annual redefinitions of elements of press kit. All elements of press kit, with information on products, folders, bags, CD covers, and other; are designed with special attention and have been well accepted by media representatives. The constantly growing value of publicity confirms this approach, as well as the absolute coverage of all relevant print media and excellent quality of generated publicity.
In addition to disseminating information to the media, the agency’s excellent database, with all required information on the entire portfolio, has enabled it to provide prompt responses to inquiries from the media.
Organization of special presentations for the media
We tried to make presentations for journalists as attractive as the information we had. We had at least two presentations per year, and often even more frequently. We strove to select very attractive and appropriate venues for these activities. The environment and concept of promotions were always in sync with the promoted products.
The quality of these activities is evidenced by the information that all of our promotions had a very high attendance and the promoted products recorded excellent publicity.
Cooperation and actions with the media
Owing to a dynamic, excellent cooperation with print media, Philips company has had numerous format of very fruitful cooperation with the media, ranging from joint promotions to supporting columns and most various actions intended for magazine readers.
We wish to highlight the especially attractive promotions: with magazine ”Ana” – “Vote for stars with most style” and magazine “Lisa” – “Lisa and friends”, that brought together many famous people and received excellent publicity.
Press tours
The agency was available to client also for organization of press visits to various promotions and presentations organized by Philips: Hungaro Ring, sponsored by Philips, company presentations in London, Prague, and Lisbon.
These presentations were opportunities for journalists from Serbia and representatives of
PRofession
Group agency to hear the news about Philips products.
Results
An average of 146 high-quality articles was published in printed media per year, as well as various formats of announcements. Publicity was recorded in about 40 most relevant magazines, both licensed editions and local magazines that published related information.
Importantly, we wish to underline that all announcements resulting from PR campaign are fully in line with the plan and schedule of PR activities. Also, the agency has always been responding to various media demands in relation to Philips product mix, within the shortest possible turnaround time.
