For the occasion of certificate award of ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 to company Zdravlje Actavis, we organized a cocktail reception where company representatives presented all phases of introducing standards, quality, environmental protection and safety at work. In the presence of company representatives, business partners and media, Mr. Jovan Zagorac, deputy director of authorized certification firm SGS presented the certificates to general manager of Zdravlje Actavis, Mr. Goran Stojilkovic.

The presentation of certificates completes an important phase of modernizing the company, which was initiated five years ago. Certificate ISO 9001:2000 is a confirmation of the highest standards of quality, certificate OHSAS 18001 is proof of successful application of the highest standards of health protection and safety at work, while certificate ISO 14001 is a verification of the highest environmental protection standards. Zdravlje Actavis Company expects an official EU certification of Good Manufacturing Practice standards (EU GMP) by the end of 2008, which will qualify the entire process of generic drugs manufacture in this company as one of the most modern in the region.

“Zdravlje Actavis is at the final stages of complete modernization of production, in accordance with the highest European and international standards. We have invested 33 million Euros into modernization of our company, in line with the business policy of Actavis Group, and we uphold continuously all international standards of quality, environmental protection, health and safety at work”, pointed out Mr. Goran Stojilkovic, general director of Zdravlje Actavis Company, during the official presentation of certificates ISO 9001:2000, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001. “Especially, I wish to underline the determination of our company to pay great attention to raising awareness of necessity to protect the environment in local community. The highest standards in all areas related to safe operations and safety of our employees, as well as in regard to the environment, confirm the responsible business doing of Zdravlje Actavis and the social responsibility we strive to promote in our community”, said Stojilkovic.
