Partnership agreement on establishing of Mediation Center was signed in Belgrade on 31 January 2006. Founders of the Center are Ministry of Justice of Republic of Serbia, Child Rights Center from Belgrade, Bar Association Belgrade, and Central Bank of Serbia, with the support of International Finance Corporation (IFC).

Signing of Partnership agreement was an occasion for an event that would bring together several target groups: representatives of state bodies and institutions, judiciary, local organizations for child rights protections, international organizations and the media. About a hundred guests attended the event, including the Minister of Justice Zoran Stojkovic, Governor of Central Bank of Serbia Radovan Jelasic and regional manager of IFC PEPSE Alternative Dispute Resolution program Wilma Van Benthem.



Special brochures with essential information about mediation as a dispute resolution method were prepared for this event, including inserters with information about results achieved during implementation of mediation pilot project at the Second Municipal Court in Belgrade.

Our task included preparation of press materials, invitations to journalists and ensuring their presence, as well as generating publicity.



About 30 journalists and cameramen attended the event, and 16 texts in print media and news agency services were published, including six television reports and a number of radio programs.
